10-05-2010 LEWIS LOFOTN JR. BIRTHDAY

Words can NOT describe how much I truly love and admire my sweet husband. We have been through a lot together and still in love with one another. It's amazing as the years go on the more head over hills we fall for each other. I'm glad we don't yell, fight, argue, and try to hurt each other. NOT saying that our relationship is perfect, but I can say this day that although I am ill and in so much pain I am happy. I strongly believe God has blessed us with hardships that we have been able to show our true character to prove that love for one another. The Lord has blessed me with a man that is amazing. My friends and family add greatly to that happiness. I appreciate him. I appreciate his hard work , and his love to the Lord and his family.
The world was blessed October 5, 19_ _ ;) when Lewis Lofton Jr. was born. Although I say that every year... I mean it every time. I pray that anyone reading this will not take this as me being boastful, prideful, ect.. I simply just want to let Lewis know today and everyday that he is truly loved deep within my heart. It's the simple little things he still does to this day that spark that love. Getting a sucker for me at the bank, always opening my car door on dates, kissing me before he leaves to work and before we go to bed, grabbing me my favorite candy bar in the check out lane, texting me something sweet or funny, panting my toe nails (lol), brushing my hair while we watch football, traveling to hospitals and holding me all night long, and much more. It's the little things that mean so much. We will celebrate his birthday in November when I get better. Thank you for all the wonderful gifts, calls, and cards that were made and sent.

Here are some quotes I thought were cute.

A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person. - Mignon McLaughlin

There is only one happiness in life, to love and be loved. - George Sand

Keep your eyes open for the things that can detract from your marriage, and work to fix them. Stress, lack of intimacy, poor communication and feeling underappreciated all create problems in a marriage. If you can address these issues as they come up, you will help to keep your marriage strong and happy.

A happy marriage begins with your own feelings about yourself. If you have a positive outlook on life, then you are likely to share that happiness with others. Whatever your outlook may be, you can always work towards becoming the kind of person you would like to be. Knowing and working on yourself and your own happiness is the first step to finding happiness in your marriage.

Mindy Mindy Mindy, You are an example of how we should constantly build our spouse. No wonder he loves you. You treat him with love and kindness and always let him know how much you appreciate him. I need to work on that with Brian. He needs to spend more time with Lewis and take notes. Hope you feel better. It's comforting to know you're in good hands.
